“As
we have passed our ninth year anniversary since beginning VivoMetrics,
we have grown in size and now have a Marketing Department with 5 employees
who rely heavily on printing brochures at a moment’s notice.
Clearly,
as I go back over the challenges which we faced, we could not have done
it without the strong support and guidance which we received from Xerox,
and particularly Mike Dickran.
We first
leased a 3545 WorkCentre about five years ago which at that time we only
had one Marketing person and the 3545 printer was a great upgrade from
our previous copy/printer.
After a couple
of years, our Marketing Department has grown and our need for a fast reliable
copier was imminent. One quick phone call to Mike and he had a solution.
One of our biggest challenges was printing copies using Glossy 34lbs,
95 Brightness papers which the Marketing person would have to stand next
to the 3545 to make sure that the machine wouldn’t jam.
After upgrading
to the new 7655 copier our Marketing Department can start a print job
and continue with the workday without interruption of a paper jam and
at 40 color prints per minute is a very nice feature. Another feature
that we really like is that we are able to logon using our Network username
and password and scan a document directly to our Users (Home) drive. These
are just a few of the many benefits of the 7655 WorkCentre.
I would say
that Xerox has lived up to the Total Satisfaction Guarantee (TSG) 100%.”

came across a situation where our engineers were scanning documents on
the competitive brand K copier we have here in our Engineering building.
They typically scan drawings and various MS Word docs and convert them
to a pdf. We noticed that the overall file sizes of these documents were
abnormally huge. We scanned the same documents via the Xerox copiers we
have in our main building. We ran a comparison test and came up the following:
K: Scanned 1 page of data at the lowest dpi setting – File Size: 3.1 mb
Xerox: Scanned the same page at the lowest dpi setting – File Size: 1.2
mb
The Xerox
machine produced a good quality scan at a third of the size of the scan
from the other vendor’s machine!
We called
our K contact and were told that this was the lowest dpi setting available………..”
